Production Driller - Scotia

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Production Driller to join the Scotia underground mining operation. This role is responsible for safe, accurate and productive drill operations while contributing to a strong team and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate production drilling in line with engineering plans
• Ensure proper signage and barricading around all drilling areas
• Safely and efficiently complete assigned production tasks
• Regularly clean, present and maintain drilling equipment
• Report mechanical issues or equipment damage immediately
• Complete daily activity sheets and safety documentation accurately
• Attend pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Conduct pre-start checks, Take 5’s and JSAs as required
• Report all incidents, hazards, and near misses promptly
• Drive continuous improvement and support a culture of innovation
• Perform additional duties as directed by Redpath

What You’ll Bring

• Experience operating underground production drills
• Ability to multi-skill in underground mining operations
• Manual driver’s licence
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Strong planning and organising capabilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work effectively in a team or independently
• Strong safety mindset aligned with Redpath’s principle:
